These airlines and airports wanted to develop community outreach programs with edutainment materials designed to keep kids occupied; thus creating a more enjoyable flying experience for kids, their parents, and other passengers too. The programs needed to be branded with their corporate colors and logos, and include content that was engaging and fun. They included activities, games, and crayon free content to reduce on-board mess and clean up. Our clients greatly appreciated Kidzsmart’s ability to manage the entire project, from creative concepts through to printing and delivery.

Our clients Alaska Airlines, Harbour Air, and Victoria Airport Authority all had one thing in common – they understood that to connect with and engage kids and families, they needed to put time and effort into their family outreach strategy and community outreach program. The programs built lasting memories with families and established a sense of loyalty with customers. The clients sought Kidzsmart’s expertise to produce engaging materials that were both entertaining and educational.

The Solution

The formats chosen were a series of eight or twelve-page booklets. These edutainment based programs contained rich artwork and were packed with relevant brand specific content. With an eye on education, Kidzsmart was able to make learning fun!

The Results

Quality is important to us, and the booklets were not only a hit with kids, but with parents too; they even caught the attention of some Mom Bloggers. Encouraged by the response and retention, Kidzsmart offered in-flight gamification through apps too. Scaling up your community outreach program by adding a digital feature is an effective and affordable compliment to an engaging kids’ program.
